Beauty Is In The Eyes Of The Beholder…Really!!
Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
-Prov. 31:30
Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing;but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious.
-1 Peter 3:3-4
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
-1 Chr. 16:29
Most girls look up to the standards of Hollywood, trying to be perfect, and trying to look like America’s next top model, but when God looks at us, He doesn’t look for the one with the best hair, or the one with the longest eye lashes, no, God looks for the one who fears Him, He looks for the one with a gentle and quiet spirit who will worship Him in the beauty of holiness! He isnt looking for someone who is so worried about the way they look that they spend more time in front of the mirror than they do on their knees, or someone who is too busy picking out an outfit for next week, that they don’t have time to read their Bible. God wants someone who will try to perfect their heart and soul, instead of trying to perfect their hair and face. If we start spending more time with God, instead of with our hair spray and bobby pins, He will give us the fulfillment we’ve been searching for! :)

Called To Be Set Apart
Come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord…
~2Cor. 6:17~
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind….
~Romans 12:2~
If a man in the Army went on a Marine base, everyone would know he didn’t belong. If a person in a Burger King uniform went to McDonalds and started trying to work there, everyone would know that they were in the wrong place. For just about everything we do, we have some kind of uniform.
God doesn’t want His people to blend in with the world. He wants us to stand out, not just in modesty on the outside, but also on the inside. Some people can be so rude, but as Christians we should always be considerate of others. When the world is going one way, we should go the other. Titus 2:12 says Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Deny in this verse means; to keep back, refrain, withhold. So obviously the writer is telling us to stay away from worldly lusts. To lust isn’t just wanting someones body, lust is anything you greatly desire. So the desires of the world, and the desires of christians should be totally different! Living set apart from the world isn’t always easy, but it will most deffinatly pay off! =]

Some people will do anything when they are bored in the middle of the night. (:
Begin Again
All this time, I had been searching, when all I needed was the truth. All this time, I have been looking, when all I need is in You. My eyes were covered by his lies. In the night, You heard my empty cries. When no tears would fall. Because the lies made me raw. You heard the silent scream within my soul. You came to my rescue and made me whole. I’m thankful, for the blood You shed. For those thorns that put holes in Your head. For the nails that went straight through Your bones. For the stripes on Your back, that made you moan. For the great love that You have shared. And for showing me You have always cared. I pray that this journey with You never ends. And that each day, it would begin again. -Beverly-
